 Summer Camp Director

Experienced and energetic director with proven leadership ability; and capacity to fulfill Christian summer camp mission and ministry objectives in a safe, fun, and spiritually healthy environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Direct, supervise, and facilitate specific outcomes for multi-faceted Christian summer program that includes residential, day, and family camps; and internship/leadership development program

•Train and assist staff in developing outcomes based camper activities

•Actively engage with campers and staff to ensure successful implementation of overall program

•Implement existing summer staff team building and pre-camp training

•Pray for and minister to staff and campers as needed

•Ensure fulfillment of Christian mission and priorities

•Work with Operations, Dining Services, Health Services, and Guest Services directors to coordinate efforts and maintain ACA accreditation standards

EXPERIENCE
•Christian camp program and operations leadership, ideally with ACA accreditation experience

•Record of success as primary, secondary or college level teaching, and/or vocational youth ministry

•Agreement with Lakeside Affirmation of Faith, both spiritually and in lifestyle

•Strong communication and organization skills

 Assistant Chef

A multifaceted position responsible for assisting in managing and running kitchen operations. The position includes food preparation and staff supervision. The ability to provide quality food preparation and presentation is very important. This is a part-time position, primarily on weekends, with the option of full-time hours during the summer. Dining Services

Part-time dining services positions. Responsibilities included meal preparation and set up, serving of the meal and clean up. Hours are primarily weekends with more hours available late Spring and the Summer.
