We are pleased to announce the arrival of Greg Farrell, Lakeside's new Food Service Director. Trish Farrell, Greg's wife, will assume the position of Director of Programming sometime after the first of the year. Please pray:

We were fortunate to avoid any damage from last night's winter storm. The temperature in Pittsfield remained just above freezing so there was very little ice build-up.

 

Following a reasonably steady fall schedule, Lakeside will be quiet during the coming weeks. Pray that our income will be sufficient to meet our fixed costs even during this down time.

 

Like other ministries Lakeside could be affected by difficult financial times. We are committed to faithful stewardship of the resources God provides. Please pray for:

 

During the last months we have been developing a new strategic plan which addresses many aspects of Lakeside's ministry. Please pray for wisdom, resources, discipline and direction as these plans are put in motion.

 

About 40 people participated in our Christmas in the Berkshires event on December 6. Participants enjoyed a welcome reception with hors d'oeuvres, a delicious dinner by Greg Farrell, and a concert around the fireplace presented by regional artist Sue Choquette.

 

Attendees were presented with the opportunity to contribute toward the transition costs for the Farrells. Pray that more funds will be available to assist the Farrells with their move.
